Stage of Project
- Environmental Assessment: Many infrastructure projects must first
undergo an Environmental Assessment (EA). An EA is a planning process which must
consider all environmental impacts, appropriate measures to manage the impacts before
the project is implemented, and include consultation with potentially impacted parties
and members of the public.
More information on the EA process.
- Design: The design stage of a project refers to the development
of contract drawings and tender documents for the construction or implementation
of the project; with architectural, engineering and business case components often
part of this stage.
- Construction: The construction stage is the implementation stage
of the project, when the process of building or assembling the project has begun.
